Our first screening of the films to date took place at The Norwood School on 1st December 2011! Despite the pouring rain, we screened 8 monster movies including local documentary maker Jesse Quinones’ CLEAN AND JERK about a local female weightlifter who dreams of making it to the Olympics.

Southern Exposure PG (SEPG) is a South East London film education project for young people in Lewisham, Lambeth and Southwark.

SEPG is now supporting young people to make films inspired by the London 2012 Olympic Games and promote them to their local communities as part of the SEPG Film Marathon!

SEPG runs exciting and inspirational events for young film-makers across South East London.

There are three film-making resources:

  • FILM LAB – filmmaking workshops
  • POP UP CINEMA – film promotion & screening
  • FILM HUB – this website to promote events & showcase films throughout the year

SEPG is inclusive: we work with individuals, youth groups, schools and youth clubs in Lambeth, Lewisham and Southwark.  To find out how to get involved with SEPG go to our contacts page to send us, or your council, an email.

This year, we have set the challenge to make, find and curate 26 films to create a “Film Marathon” in time for the London 2012 Olympics!
