The SEPG Film Marathon is a series of exciting and inspirational events for young filmmakers across South East London. Approximately 1300 young people will make or source, and then market and screen, a Marathon of 26 short films.

Opportunities to get involved include:

1 Minute Movie workshops, Animation workshops, a “Making Of” documentary, Editing and Marketing Film workshops, Industry Masterclasses, and Local “premiere” screenings of submitted films .

Workshops with industry professionals could involve story devising, storyboarding, acting for camera and basic camera techniques and all finish with an opportunity to shoot a film, whatever your level of experience. Groups will then upload their film to the SEPG website and channel to create their own PR campaign to get their films seen at screenings – the SEPG panel will then select the best 26 for the London 2012 Olympics inspired Film Marathon!
